We collect health information to give you personalised prevention guidance. We do not sell your data. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: name, date of birth, email, and (optionally) WhatsApp number.
- Health inputs: assessment answers (age, sex, conditions, lifestyle, travel), vaccination records, and any lab values you choose to add.
- Wellbeing check-ins: the daily body and mind ratings you log with your companion, used to show your streak and reflect how you are doing.
- Connected devices: if you connect a wearable, activity and recovery metrics such as sleep, resting heart rate, steps and heart-rate variability. In the current demo version these values are simulated and no real device data is read.
- Consultation records: when you save a virtual-doctor consultation, we store a summary and transcript of that conversation in your records.
- Usage data: basic technical information needed to run and secure the service.
2. How we use your information
- To generate your personalised prevention plan, scores, and recommendations.
- To power the AI assistant consultation and explain your results.
- To power your wellbeing companion and reflect your check-ins and recovery.
- To save consultation summaries to your records when you choose to.
- To send the reminders you opt in to (e.g. via WhatsApp).
- To improve and secure the service.
3. AI processing
To provide the assessment, lab-reading, virtual-doctor, and consultation-summary features, some inputs are processed by trusted AI service providers. Lab-report photos are read in memory to extract values and are not stored after processing.
4. Reminders
WhatsApp reminders are sent only if you opt in. You can turn them off at any time from your profile.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the service providers needed to operate CareMate (e.g. hosting, AI, messaging), or where required by law. When you choose to book with a clinic or provider, the details you share go to that provider.
6. Data retention and your choices
You can view, update, or delete your information from your dashboard, or by emailing us. We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Children
Children's records (for the family schedule) should only be added by a parent or legal guardian.
9. Contact
To exercise your privacy rights or ask a question, email privacy@mycaremate.me.
